How to Get the Code for Leave Elmstreet

"Escape from 1428 Elmstreet," sometimes referred to as "Leave Elmstreet" by players, is a point-and-click, online, escape game. You must avoid Freddy Krueger by navigating through a house and escape. While clicking and exploring the house, you come across a hidden code. The code is needed to open a locked box hidden in a medicine cabinet. The code is found on the forehead of a skull hidden underneath the floor.

Click the house door.

Click the hammer to add it to your inventory. You need it to break the mirror of the medicine cabinet.

Click the loose floor plank. Click "Yes" when prompted to lift it up. Click the skull's forehead to reveal a message. The message says:

"Inside is a skull inscribed with blood that reads,

3x4, 7-6, 8+7"

This is a clue to help you decipher the numerical code which you need to open the lock later in the game. To solve the clue, complete the mathematical equations in the message. The graphics in the game are erroneous and do not match the code you need to input to open the locked box. The hint shown indicates the code is "12, 1, 15," but the code you need to use is "12, 15, 12."

Click the green triangle on the bottom left corner. Click the stairs to walk upstairs.

Click the right (direction) blue square on the bottom left corner. Click the doorway to the right to enter the bathroom.

Click the mirror. Click the hammer to break the mirror.

Click the black box on the first shelf of the medicine cabinet.

Click the box on the left. Type "12." Click the box in the middle. Type "15." Click the box on the right. Type "12." Click "OK" to open the locked box and receive the key.
